Risk Management

Municipality Finance's risk management is divided into two units, the overall risk management function and the Risk Assessment and Financial Planning Unit.

The Risk Assessment and Financial Planning Unit is responsible for ensuring that the risk management strategy determined by the Board of Directors is implemented and that the company's risk taking is in the right proportion to its risk taking capacity and objectives.

The unit is also in charge of middle office functions such as the management of guarantees and the assessment of counterparties. Its regular duties also include the monitoring of market valuations and interest rate fluctuations, and reporting to the management.
